In the North Bay, over a period of 24 hours in early October 2017, more than 5,400 homes were burned to the ground. There were almost as many partial residence losses, over 3,000 vehicle losses and 600 commercial property losses, including farm and agricultural losses. This has had a profound impact on families, neighborhoods, jobs and businesses in the affected communities, as well as in the surrounding communities.
Within a month, Sonoma County had opened a comprehensive service center to offer information to homeowners and developers/contractors about rebuilding, permitting and resources. Santa Rosa has fast-tracked the permit and approval process and waived some of the rebuilding fees in the areas destroyed. Renew Now Homes is currently working with the City of Santa Rosa to further streamline the permitting and building process.

Brad Waite is a licensed mortgage originator and a lifelong proponent of the manufactured housing industry. He has dedicated his life to establishing parity in manufactured home finance to that of traditional site-built financing. Brad is highly involved with the manufactured home and financing industry, serving on numerous boards and and is an active member of various local, state and national manufactured housing associations. He has received multiple awards over the years that have recognized his service and commitment to the industry.
Mark Westphal
Principal
Mark Westphal has an extensive background with over 27 years of experience in every cycle of the real estate market, including as a Real Estate Broker and Licensed Loan Officer. Mark is firmly committed to rebuilding communities: “I understand the importance of affordable housing. My goal for Renew Now Homes is to provide families with options for rebuilding their homes so they can stay in the community they love instead of selling their lots and starting over. Clay Sharp
V.P. of Construction
Clay Sharp and Sharp Construction is in its third generation of Manufactured home construction. Sharp Construction is based out of the central valley of California and has been building homes throughout Northern California for over 30 years. He and brings a wealth of knowledge to Renew Now Homes as the Head of Construction. Clay has spent the last 10 years focused on homebuilding with an emphasis on Manufactured housing. As a company, they have completed over 2000 homes throughout Northern California.
